With only 10 minutes of prep work, you will have a deliciously cheesy crockpot lasagna ready to come home to. This meal cooks for just a couple hours, with no fuss, and dinner is ready!
This Crockpot Lasagna was shared with me, by my Nana, in a special recipe book that she made for me as a wedding gift. It is the perfect combination of meat, sauce, tomatoes, and cheeses - layered together into a melty, mouthwatering goodness. It is a perfect comfort food and feeds many. It has quickly become a staple in our families dinner rotation, and it is loved by all.

1 lb. ground beef
Garlic & onion (optional)

1 jar of marinara sauce (24 oz)
I can of diced tomatoes (15 oz)
2 cups of cottage cheese
2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
Salt & pepper to taste
Additional spices (optional)

Directions:
Get out your crockpot & plug it in
Combine your cottage and mozzarella cheeses in a mixing bowl (set aside)
Brown ground beef with optional onion & garlic
Add 1/4 cooked ground beef to crockpot

Next, sprinkle on diced tomatoes (1/3 can) & a layer of sauce (1/3 jar)
Repeat layering 2 more times
Top with remaining meat mixture
